Customer Reviews
See what Tulsa families and employers say about working with our salaried, non-commissioned team.
“Today, I worked with David Harder deciding Medicare options. He gave a clear and concise presentation and friendly, responsive answers to all my questions. I made my choices and felt very good about them.”
Mike R.“Very quick to respond to my inquiries and go above and beyond to ensure all my questions are answered. I have been using their services for several years.”
Karen C.“Insurance can be overwhelming and somewhat stressful at times, and they make it so easy and are extremely helpful.”
Lindsey C.Turning 65?
Start with your timing.
“So when you turn 65, you have three months before the month you turn 65 and three months after the month you turn 65, for a total of a seven-month window to sign up for Medicare.”
David Harder · Spirit Insurance Group
This is the usual initial enrollment window. Current-employment group coverage and other circumstances may give you different enrollment options; late penalties do not apply to everyone who enrolls later.
Advantage or a Supplement?
“We just want to go over both of those scenarios with you and cover your needs. We just want to make sure that we get you in the right spot.”
David Harder · Spirit Insurance Group
Medicare Advantage
“You join a Medicare-approved plan from a private company that offers an alternative to Original Medicare for your health and drug coverage.”
“In many cases, you can only use doctors who are in the plan’s network.”
Original Medicare + Medigap
“Medicare Supplement Insurance (Medigap) is extra insurance you can buy from a private company that helps pay your share of costs in Original Medicare.”
Medigap has its own premium in addition to Part B. New Medigap policies do not include prescription drug coverage; a separate Part D plan is an option with Original Medicare.

Compare the specific plan’s premiums, cost sharing, doctors, prescriptions and enrollment rules. Medigap benefits vary by plan letter; premiums and services not covered by Medicare still matter. A return to Original Medicare does not automatically guarantee acceptance into Medigap.

Your next review.
“The biggest mistake we see is people not reviewing. You must review.”
David Harder · from his Medicare interview
“We've seen people that with specialists that they've been with for years, they've got all their prescriptions all nailed down, and they're controlling their conditions, and they don't look at things, and the next year their prescriptions aren't covered or their doctor's out of network, and they're having to start all that process all over.”
David Harder · Spirit Insurance Group
Doctor participation and drug coverage are plan-specific and can change. A review is not a guarantee that every doctor or prescription will be covered.

What should I read in my Annual Notice of Change?
“The main things you want to pay attention to are your tiers of your prescriptions, your co-pays, and what your deductible is on your plan or your maximum out-of-pocket.”
David Harder · Spirit Insurance Group
What is changing for Part D in 2027?
“That's your maximum out-of-pocket for your prescription drug plans for twenty twenty-seven, which is going from twenty-one hundred to twenty-four hundred dollars.”
David Harder · Spirit Insurance Group
CMS sets the 2027 Part D annual out-of-pocket threshold at $2,400, up from $2,100 in 2026. It applies to covered Part D drugs—not all healthcare spending or premiums. The cap does not require use of a preferred pharmacy.
When is Medicare Annual Open Enrollment?
October 15–December 7. You can make eligible Medicare Advantage and drug-plan changes for coverage generally starting January 1. Other enrollment opportunities may apply to your circumstances.

I’m already in Medicare Advantage. Can I switch January–March?
The Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period runs January 1–March 31 for people already in Medicare Advantage. You can make one change: to another Medicare Advantage plan, or to Original Medicare with the option to join a separate drug plan. It is not a general Medigap switching window.

What should I read in my Annual Notice of Change (ANOC)?
Look at your prescription drug tiers, copays, deductible, and your plan's maximum out-of-pocket — those are the pieces most likely to change January 1. CMS also sets a new 2027 Part D out-of-pocket cap of $2,400 (up from $2,100 in 2026); it applies to covered Part D drugs, not all healthcare spending.

Do you offer every Medicare plan available in Tulsa?
No — by law we have to tell you that. We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent 7 organizations which offer 60 products in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.
This is our required TPMO disclosure, stated on every Medicare piece we publish.
Do you only sell certain companies’ plans?
No — we’re brokers, not captive agents, and that distinction matters. A captive agent works for one specific carrier, so that carrier’s plans are the only thing they can quote you. As an independent broker, we don’t care which carrier you end up with — we only want to find the coverage that actually fits your doctors, prescriptions and budget, at the lowest cost.

What happens if I miss the deadline?
It depends which window you missed. Medicare’s Annual Enrollment Period runs October 15–December 7 — miss it and you generally wait for the next AEP, though the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (January 1–March 31) allows one plan change if you’re already in Medicare Advantage. On the ACA side, open enrollment runs November 1–January 15 (December 15 for January 1 coverage) — after that you generally need a qualifying life event (job loss, moving, losing SoonerCare, etc.) to enroll outside the window. Call before you assume you’re stuck — there’s often more room than people think.
